Top of Maroma or Lucero

WELCOME TO OUR GUIDED WALKS TO THE TOP OF LA MAROMA, THE HIGHEST MOUNTAIN IN THE PROVINCE OF MALAGA (2067 M), OR THE EQUALLY STUNNING MOUNTAIN EL LUCERO (1779 M ).

Our prices start from €30 per person, which includes transfers and a knowledgeable guide.

Both day trips last around 7 hours, including transfers to and from Cómpeta, with the walks taking approximately 5 hours. These walks are truly spectacular, and we use a Landrover to drive up to an altitude of 1600 meters for the Maroma walk, and 1200 meters for the Lucero walk.

 

From there, we still have to ascend and descend about 500 meters on foot. For the Lucero walk, there's also the possibility to walk back to Cómpeta, making it a 7-hour journey. These walks are suitable for reasonably fit people, but if you're unsure, please contact us using the form, and we'll suggest a suitable walk for your level of capability.
