Our guided walking holidays take you on an 8-day adventure through the stunning Sierras de Almijara y de Tejeda mountain chain in Andalucia, southern Spain.
ACCOMMODATION: Choose between staying in the charming Casa Hadriano or one of the other village houses. The package offers half-board (breakfast and dinner) accommodation at a cost of just €659,- p.p. (euro). In February and November your stay will be in Hotel Balcon de Cómpeta

At an altitude of 640 m, the picturesque white village of Cómpeta is the perfect starting point for exploring southern Spain. And with many great restaurants, you'll get to experience the local cuisine too.
Our guided walk program takes you through some of the most beautiful paths in the region, with different levels of difficulty to cater to all walkers. From ancient holm oak forests to the natural park with special views, and from the ruins of a Moorish fortress complex to the stunning Rio Cajula, there's plenty to explore. And with a day free at your disposal, you can even take a walk to the coast and the beach, or a city walk in Málaga.
Our itinerary is packed with excitement and adventure, but we promise to keep things funnier to read while still maintaining a professional atmosphere. On the final day, we'll transfer you to the bus stop in Cómpeta, marking the end of an unforgettable walking holiday.

Let us break it down for you. Included in the price are 7 blissful nights in a cozy double or twin bed room with your very own ensuite at Casa Hadriano or ***hotel Balcón de Cómpeta (in February or November), 7 scrumptious breakfasts and dinners to tantalize your taste buds, all your local transfers to make travel a breeze, and an expert local English speaking guide to lead you on all your walking adventures.
Not included in the price are the airfares from the UK (or elsewhere) to Málaga airport (sorry, we can't control those pesky airline prices), the buscosts from the airport to Cómpeta (€ 7,50 p.p. vice versa), lunches and drinks (but don't worry, there are plenty of supermarkets in Cómpeta to satisfy your midday cravings).
For lunch costs, we recommend budgeting around €3 to €5 per day. And if you're feeling like treating yourself to some solo time, the single room supplement for 1 week at hotel Bálcon de Cómpeta is €170,- p.p.
