General Information
Arrival and departure
If you book accommodation by the week, for some accommodations Saturday is the changeover day. The room or the house you rent will be available at 16.00 PM on the day the rental period starts. On the day of departure the rooms should be vacated by 10.00 AM in order to give us ample time to ensure that rooms and houses are in perfect condition for the next guests.
Cleaning
Departure cleaning is included in the rent. Nevertheless, we expect you to tidy the room or the house during your stay. There are garbage containers available on several spots in the village from around 16.00 PM till late in the evening. We kindly ask that you dispose of your garbage there.
Additionally if staying in Pensión Hadriano or B & B Las Tres Abejas, you are kindly requested to consider other guests who may also be using communal facilities. Therefore during your stay, if you use the kitchen, please wash up any kitchen utensils used.
Prices
Gas, water, and electricity are – when not used excessively - included in our prices.
Bed linen and bath towels
All bed linen and bath towels are provided. For those staying for longer periods all linen and towels will be replaced weekly.
Furniture
The house is fully furnished. In the kitchen, there is a gas cooker, oven, refrigerator, sufficient crockery and utensils.
Deposit
On arrival and receipt of the house and room keys, you will have to pay a deposit of €25 per room. That deposit will be repayable on return of the house and room keys, provided the house or the room is left in a good condition.
Pets
For those renting rooms, pets are not allowed out of consideration for other guests. However, should you rent the entire house, we will permit pets as long as you inform us when booking how many pets you intend to bring.
Reservations and payments
Reservations can be made solely by e-mail. On booking, you confirm to abide by these conditions. Within 24 hours of your booking, you will receive an e-mail confirmation and an invoice. On the invoice will be stated an initial payment of 25%, which must be paid 7 days after booking, and a balance payment of 75%, which must be paid at least 3 weeks before your arrival. If the reservation is made within 3 weeks before arrival, the entire rent must be paid within 7 days of booking. If any payment is not made within the timeframes outlined here, the reservation will automatically be cancelled.
Cancellations and cancellation costs
Cancellations of reservations must also be made by e-mail. Within 24 hours, you will receive e-mail confirmation of your cancellation.
Within the first 7 days after your reservation, you will not be charged a cancellation fee at Spanjeanders.
This 7-day period enables you to make travel arrangements for your trip to Cómpeta without pressure or risk. For example, if no flights or only flights at very high rates are available, you can cancel your reservation at Spanjeanders within these 7 days without any obligation or cost.
Apart from this 7-day grace period, the following cancellation costs apply: The cancellation costs are 25% up to 3 weeks before arrival.
The cancellation costs are 75% between 3 weeks and 1 week before arrival.
The cancellation costs are 90% within 1 week before arrival.
Because high cancellation costs are usually charged for budget flights, we advise you -when booking your flights- to purchase travel insurance to protect yourself from the possible risk and loss of having to cancel flights and accommodations.
